Higher Education: Supply Meets Demand

On the one hand , devolution of HEC(higher Education Commission) Powers to the provinces has triggered a conflict all over the country , on the other demand for higher education is increasing day by day and private universities are establishing new campuses.

A recent example is the establishment of its fourth campus by Iqra University. Iqra University has three campuses in Karachi , and now it has announced the launch of its fourth campus that will be hosting the faculties of Education, Management Sciences and  fashion Design .

The demand for higher education in Pakistan is increasing day by day.  According to World bank Website, higher education in Pakistan that starts after grade 12 and corresponds to the age bracket 19 to 23 , has become a highly demanded commodity and government and private sector, both have to work for handling this ever rising demand.
