Hilary Wonders Why Pakistanis Hate America Despite Aid!

" Fog is here and fog is there. Men and Animal cannot see each other. Kill us in the day light if you must."(Homer, The Illiad)

Hilary Clinton has raised a very basic question, although American aid for Pakistan is bigger than the aid from Saudi Arabia and China , yet Pakistanis hate America.

American partners in Pakistan are good for nothing.Pakistani intellectuals , those who are sober and fair among them think that America should clearly communicate to the people of Pakistan what is happening in Pakistan and  should avoid confusions and clear the mist of conspiracy theories.

Pakistani people need first hand knowledge, another bunch of journalists and thinkers should be clearly briefed about what is happening in Pakistan. Americans should take more than a thousand journalists and other people to the troubled ares to give them a first hand knowledge of the state of affairs. They should confide in the people of Pakistan directly and should allow them to 'see' the facts with the naked eyes. Pakistani conscience can only be satisfied with a first hand direct observation of the reality.

Pakistanis lost their great leaders , their peace and economy in this war and they don't know who their enemy is. They are still in darkness and this darkness should be removed. Old journalist may have seen the reality, but the younger generation of journalists and intellectuals have no access to the truth. Pakistanis now want to see the naked truth and nothing less than that. The mist shrouding the truth should be removed.

Each day a drone attack takes place. Pakistanis want to know who orders and supports these attacks in Pakistan. Is there any involvement of Pakistani government in these attacks. What is the nature and objectives of Pakistani cooperation in the war of terror. Americas should clarify each and everything to the people of Pakistan.
America has done a lot for Pakistan , though Pakistanis think that America has betrayed Pakistan on decisive occasions in its history. For instance when Pakistanis were waiting for american help in 1971, their trust  was broken.

That was just one example of how Pakistanis view American priorities.Furthermore Pakistanis don't know a single damn thing about this war on terror. President Obama should address Pakistani nation to tell them clearly what is happening in Pakistan. Pakistanis think that America wants to disintegrate their country, and many foolish articles published on this issue in America contributed a lot towards it.

America sends bombs and warfare material to Pakistan, how Pakistanis can like this when they don't know  the reason behind it. Most of the Pakistanis hold America responsible for terrorism in Pakistan. These mysteries should be resolved now. And I dare to write a line from Homer . When the Greek army was enveloped in a mist by the Olympians, and they were not able to see each other the great Ajax said:

" Fog is here and fog is there. Men and Animal cannot see each other. Kill us in the day light if you must."

What Pakistanis Think About Osama bin Laden: They give a damn to it

To the astonishment of many, majority of the ordinary Pakistanis do not either believe in the existence of Osama bin Laden, cannot properly differentiate between the signified of Osama and Obama. Those who believe in the existence of Osama, among them a majority does not find any practical value of his murder, saying that it will neither have any economic or political bearing , positive or negative on the lives of ordinary people.

Some people see a great conspiracy in all these affairs, and they believe that everything happens according to a pre written script. People have no interest in and knowledge of Osama or what he did , they are only interested in keeping aside any impact whatsoever his murder can have on their lives.

Pakistanis do not even like the continuous coverage of his murder on media, they want to watch other programs , but media is continuously showing news reports on Osama.

These thinking trends show that ordinary Pakistanis do not even bother to think about something , for which rest of the world holds them responsible. Pakistanis are least interested in these things and like all other people they want to enjoy their lives and remain happy. However, now for a person whom majority of Pakistanis consider only as a phantom, and are least interested to know about, they are facing the wrath of the whole world. People around the world call them a terrorist harboring nation and have so many negative opinions about them.On the other hand Pakistanis give a damn to bin Laden and all this st

America Demands Pakistan should Investigate Involvement of its Officials in Osama's Stay at Abbottabad

American senate Committee to probe on Osama's presence in Abbottabad that resulted in his murder by CIA, has called for a probe into the involvement  of Pakistani officials. According to the committee Osama's stay in Abbottabad is not possible without the help and involvement of certain elements and officials from Pakistani .

This demand , if America insists on it , can lead America Pakistan relationship towards another quagmire, from where the chances of its emergence are minimum. A British News Paper reported that there was a pact signed between Bush and Musharraf , according to which America could kill Osama inside Pakistan . However, the pact did not include that Pakistan could host Osama in one of its cities deliberately.

So, Osama's murder by CIA , as the British Media claims, was in accordance with the pact between Bush and Musharraf, but his stay was not agreed upon by the two parties.

Bin Laden's Cross as a Religious Symbol: Some Apprehensions

One should be ready to tackle the situation that can possibly emerge after Osama's murder. He can be converted into a martyr.

When Christ was nailed on the cross by Romans , their governor Herod asked him several times to deny that he was the king of Judas. However Christ did not deny that he was the king of Judas and when he was nailed on the cross, Herod wrote I.N.R.I , the sacred tetragrammaton on his cross. I.N.R.I stands for Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.

Osama bin Laden is killed by the American forces, and the way things are unfolding now, it is very clear that the tetragrammaton,  I.N.R.I sits golden on the cross of Osama bin Laden. One, with honesty,  should accept this fact that Osama bin Laden was the King of Muslims for Americans, just as Jesus was of Jews for the Romans.

The tetragrammaton is vivid on Osama's cross, and there are signs that he is going to be remembered as the king of Muslims in the times to come, for rest of the rulers in the Muslim world are all puppet rulers , and the only one who was free , and followed his own will was this terrorist Osama bin Laden.

The way things are unfolding , it is being clarified that his family will be treated as princes and princesses are treated by the rivals. This can easily become another story like that of Kerbala ; with the passage of time Osama will become the slogan of a non violent mass movement. Osama's story will be told like the story of Kerbala , and soon he will be reckoned as the top figure in the history of Islam.

Pakistanis should not stain their hands with the blood of Osama or his family members, otherwise it will become very difficult for them to avoid a Yazeed like fame.

Osama bin Laden can assume a stature similar to that of Hussein . This can be threatening for the kings and aristocracy in the Islamic world.

When Osama was alive he was a terrorist , when dead he has become the major impetus for a mass movement. Al Qaeda in the life of Osama was a terrorist organization , not a choice for the majority of  the Muslims; it was a secluded organization. After the death of Osama Al Qaeda can become a non violent mass movement like Christianity, like Shiite Islam.

Osama's death's consequences are slowly unfolding . Pakistan government did not dare to reveal its role in his death, they know what does it mean. Osama's murder is a very high profile murder , his murder is despised by the majority of the Muslims, notwithstanding the fact that his life was also condemned by the majority.

After Osama's death Al Qaeda can become a non violent mass religious movement , threatening the ways of the kings and dictators in the Arab world. It will no longer remain a terror organization working underground; it will slowly be transformed into a mass movement like Christianity became after Jesus.

Subject Object Dichotomy and Bin Laden's Issue

Pakistan is victimized on the issue of bin Laden. This is shear injustice on the part of the rest of the world to devoid Pakistan of the credit due to it . People all over the world are asking why bin Laden was living in Abbottabad so close to the military academy, but they don't realize that it was Pakistan , and no one else who provided intelligence to CIA on this issue and on any other issue.

The fact that Pakistan provided the intelligence on the basis of which Americans conducted the operation , is not something that requires empirical evidence; it is a priori true and it is a logical truth, necessary , essential and universal. One cannot imagine that CIA , who has no roots in Pakistan, who has no strength on the ground, can gather intelligence on its own.

Just consider the example of the man who live tweeted bin Laden operation. How clearly it shows that only a person on ground, living there , can be the first to inform . To be there is the first , necessary and essential requirement to become the first to inform about or report an incident; whatever technology others have, whatever resources others have, if they have no presence on the ground, they cannot become the first to know what happens on the ground. So, Pakistani intelligence agencies also unknowingly provided information of the possible presence of an Al Qaeda leader in Abbottabad. And it on this information that CIA conducted an operation that resulted in Osama's death; even CIA did not know it for sure that Osama was there.

With an exception of Indian media, who looks at every transaction between US and Pakistan with suspicion, everyone else is confirmed that Pakistanis were not informed about the operation; and Pakistanis say that even CIA acted on the basis of 60% level of surety, that they were only 60% sure about the presence of bin Laden in the compound.

CIA, with all its equipment, technology and effectiveness, could not know anything about whats happening on the ground; it is beyond there power to know this; they can see things happen, but they cannot interpret incidents. They cannot live through the reality on the ground.

So, those who are saying that CIA knew it on its own, and did not get any information from Pakistan is unbelievable , is not a trustworthy statement. It was Pakistan , and no one else who provided the intelligence on bin Laden's presence in Pakistan.

President Obama acknowledged this fact; however rest of the world is criticizing Pakistan owing to their biases about Pakistan- biases that can potentially discourage Pakistan to help the world community in dealing with this issue.

Pakistan Army chief and political leadership has pointed out this issue , and they have shown their concern over this. Pakistan army chief has said that in future no such activity will be tolerated. Pakistani political leadership has also criticized David Cameron because of his negative statements on this issue.

Pakistan is helping the world in this war of terror, and the world should realize that Pakistanis can gather intelligence because they are on the ground and they can relate themselves to terrorists; this means intelligence gathering presupposes Pakistani security agencies' relation with terrorists; this is a pre condition for any intelligence gathering. And it is because of this reason Pakistan can gather intelligence and others cannot. So if someone criticize Pakistani security agencies on this issue, that person does not understand the basic things.

Islamic militancy in Pakistan is not organized as a criminal organization; it is socially organized, it has social roots. It has its advocates, supporters and participants everywhere; its a widespread movement. It has a great support in Pakistan and its roots are deep. How can a security agency deal with it without difficulties. People in the West think that militancy can be easily dealt with; they don't know anything about it.

Where Islamic religious sentiment enters the boarders of militancy, it is from there the work of intelligence agencies starts. And religious sentiment is the essential attribute of Pakistani populace, whether they are Muslims, Hindus, Christians , Jews or Sikhs. So if every one is religiously sentimental, owing to the education they received during the first Afghan war, then it is hard to find where religious sentiment actually enters militancy. In Pakistan every one is religiously sentimental, however the western thinkers believe that only terrorists are religiously sentimental. Which is utterly wrong.

In the West the the way of thinking , that separates the subject from the object , this dichotomy of the subject and object, is a hindrance in understanding indigenous reality. This should be understood that subject object dichotomy is to give scientific validity and objectivity to the knowledge; but one should not change the reality according to one's method of perception.

This subject object dichotomy that systematically removes all subjective layers from the phenomenon to grasp it in an objective manner, is nothing but a will to dominate other cultures and indigenous realities . Western thinkers and policy makers should decide whether they are interested in dealing with the problem , or are more interested in maintaining their perspectives.

Social world is not a scientific objective reality, neither it should be reduced to this level. Better than this subject object dichotomy is the method of pragmatism, but no one even tries to think pragmatically about this issue.

Which is utterly wrong. But it is true that the merger of good and evil starts here, and intelligence agencies try to seek the points to enter the realm of evil. And these avenues go right from the heart of good.

Somalian Pirates Asking for Ransom for Indian and Pakistani Shipmen

According to what has been publishing in different newspapers and being said in T.V programs , a band of Somalian pirates who have kept Pakistani and Indian shipmen as hostages is asking for ransom to set them free. They are demanding more than US$ 2 millions and the families of Indian and Pakistani shipmen have arranged the amount they were supposed to arrange, but the Indian parliament leader K.D Singh is delaying the transaction.

According to an interview aired on Geo News tonight, Pakistani social worker Ansar Berni , who has helped the families of Pakistanis getting the required amount of US $ 600000, from charities and other resources, Indian parliament member K.D Singh is delaying the process through not providing US $ 500000 required for the freedom of Indian hostages. Rest of the US $ 1 million was to be provided by the ship owner who has already provided the amount.

According to Ansar Berni, lives of hostages are endangered because of this delay.

"Whereof One Cannot Speak Thereof One must be Silent": Pakistan America Relationship

According to American authorities , Pakistan and America relationship are of complex nature. America cannot terminate the aid for Pakistan and neither they want to harm relationships with Pakistan. American media does not get tired of saying that Pakistan army and ISI are taking sides with terrorists; that Pakistan is playing a double game, and they are looking both ways. Yet American administration always comes to rescue Pakistan.

One example is of the recent raid to kill Osama bin Laden. The world is startled that how Osama was living near Abbottabad for last few years; Abbottabad the garrison city and Osama the most wanted person. Obama came to rescue Pakistan saying that it was with the help of intelligence provided by Pakistan , that CIA conducted the operation in Abbottabad resulting in Osama's death.

One can easily see why American administration always rescues Pakistan. The reason is no Pakistan means no control over the territory , for in the absence of Pakistan Army America cannot control Pakistani territories; Pakistan is not like Iraq or Afghanistan for so many reasons.

So, if they destroy Pakistan army, and remove Pakistani government, they will have to govern Pakistan on their own, they will have to send their army to Pakistan , which they don't want to do. For this they require an enemy's forces to be dumped in Pakistan; a country offering the most hostile environ in its Northern region. The only place America can control is the Indus valley , but the problem does not lie there; the problem is in the Northern region.

If Pakistan Army refuses to fight in the North Western Areas of Pakistan , even America can't do it. For they know how difficult it is to hold ground there, and to do it for a longer period of time. Furthermore, if they dismantle Pakistani machinery they are using in these areas , then what is the guarantee that anyone else can serve this purpose. Even India will not acquiesce to serve there.

Americans need Pakistan Army and Pakistan; Pakistan's failure is the failure of America, and its success is their success . And that is why American administration always comes to rescue Pakistan; but they also think that Pakistan is trying to play a double game.

The double game is to simultaneously control and worsen the situation. Most of the Americans believe that Pakistan wants to show and make the situation worse, erects thorny hedges around , so that no one else can even think of handling this situation on its own.Pakistan wants to keep America , India or any other power away from feeling that they can handle the situation on their own. So, Pakistan does not want the militants to weaken and thus always keeps the problem alive and ferocious. For some of the Americans the raison de etre for the Army of Pakistan and the state of Pakistan is its necessity and essentialness to maintain a control over its territories. If someone else can maintain it in a more economic manner , then the task will be given to that power. However, it is not possible for anyone else to do this ; neither India nor America can do this more economically and efficiently.

This leaves no choice then for Americans to leave Pakistan and its Army intact and working , to control the unruly territories that can create trouble for the civilized world.

One more thing is that Americans also want Pakistani people to progress and develop both socially and economically. Unlike their European partners , who have suppressed this will and goodly desire because of Indian pressure, Americans not only verbally express it but have always proved it. America is among the architects of Pakistan and American help has always rescued Pakistan from Economic troubles. Americans as always, rescued Pakistan from becoming a failed state in 1998, when only a meager amount left in their account. America is not an enemy, but a great friend of Pakistan, and also a working partner; and it is in it second role that Americans at times become strict.

These then are the complexities of Pakistan America relationship.

A Helicopter Crashed Near Tarbela, Pakistan

according to Geo News , a Helicopter is crashed near Tarbela , Pakistan.

The Dilemma of Pakistan : Abyss of Terrorism and Pakistan's Twofold Will

According to the News Reports , David Cameron has said that Pakistan will have to answer so many questions about Osama's presence in Abbottabad ; a military city and only 30 kilometers away from the Capital of Pakistan. Last year David Cameron accused Pakistan for looking both ways. And it is this accusation that this article intends to answer.

Pakistani President Asif  Zardari has denied that Pakistan is harboring terrorists on its land and he also reiterated Pakistan's will to fight against terrorism. Mentioning the fact that 30000 Pakistanis have died in the hands of terrorists since 2001 including 5000 soldiers, President Asif Ali Zardari tried to tell the world about what Pakistan has contributed in the war of terror.

There is no doubt that Pakistan will have to answer so many questions, almost everyone is raising such questions, but what David Cameron has asked in strategic terms , should first be asked in social terms . Rather than asking this question strategically , this question should be raised in a social manner.

The social manner of asking this question means to ask why Pakistani society is in a dilemma? Why Pakistani people are looking both ways? Why there are two mind sets in Pakistan , moving in different directions, one towards an abyss and the other out of the abyss. The first  question that should be asked is about the abyss itself? What then is this abyss, from which Pakistan is trying to come out and is also drawn towards it?

This( borrowing Friedrich Nietzsche's words) then is Pakistani society's twofold will: it is facing an abyss and it wants to come out of it and simultaneously does not want to lose its ground-losing ground means to fall into the abyss. For if in an effort to come out of an abyss, one does not look towards the abyss to hold his ground then one can slip and fall in it.

The abyss , the pit is of anarchy, terrorism, and whatever chaotic one can know in the world; this abyss is of an absolute chaos. So, those who want to push Pakistan into the abyss do not know that Pakistan will surely disappear into the abyss, but abyss itself will not disappear; pushing Pakistan back into the abyss will do nothing but increase the number of victims of those devoured by the abyss. This will only increase the terror and gravitational force of this abyss; the more it devours , the more it will attract, like a black hole , this abyss is ready to devour more and more.

This abyss was created to get rid of Soviet Union , and now it is ready to devour those who created it; Pakistan is to become the first victim of it. David Cameron and those who think that Pakistan is an enemy of the civilized world , for it is looking both ways, don't understand that Pakistan is facing the abyss of terror, and it is natural for Pakistan to see towards it, for it does not want to lose its ground,  and also outwards, because it wants to come out of it, so it is necessary for Pakistan to look both ways.

This twofold will , the giddiness of heart is something characteristic not only of Pakistani institutions, state, Army, but also of each and every individual living in Pakistan. That they are facing this abyss and they have to look both ways; they have to look downwards, to hold their ground, or they slip into it, and upwards , outwards , where they want to go .

And no one is throwing in a rope long enough to pull Pakistan out of it. rather than there are some people standing outside , throwing stones on Pakistan to make Pakistan a victim of this pit . They are afraid of looking into this abyss, and they think , it is because of Pakistan, since Pakistan is in it, they have to look at the abyss. And they resolve to throw the victim in and go away , to avoid looking into it ;but they don't know the gravitation force of this abyss; it attracts(it was made seductive by its creators). The only way to deal with this pit is that one should learn the art of coming out of it without losing one's ground, notwithstanding its attraction and seduction.

And Pakistan , it is the hope of all of us will learn and consequently invent the art of coming out of this abyss of terror and madness, and it is also hoped that no one will again dig such pits for others.

Pakistan's dilemma is a natural consequence of its own policies and what the West asked them to do during the last Afghan war. They sent Pakistan to Madrassah and trained Pakistan for terrorism, violence and anger. Pakistan wanted to go to the school like all others, but the Western fathers chose Madrassah for Pakistan. They converted Pakistan into a militant , though the half of this country remained outside this influence and remained sober and peaceful. Now the peaceful half is threatened by the militant half .Not as one is threatened by a stranger , an outsider; one is threatened by the person sitting next, by the person one himself is!

In case the militant half wins , and there remains no civilization in Pakistan, then it will be a loss for the whole world . No Pakistan means another uncivilized and unmanaged territory, bordering India and China, threatening their existence. India should be very concerned about it , and may be they are. For they know that the abyss is just in their neighborhood .

Prime Minister David Cameroon does not know what his predecessor , honorable Margarette Thatcher has done during her regime; how considerate she was towards this terror machinery and with what perfection she had created and nurtured this monstrous institution of terror. She did it to such a perfection that now it has become almost impossible to undo it. Even James Bond had helped her in achieving these aims-remember the movie Living daylights, and answer, have you banned it sir, as a pro jihad movie?.

Pakistan has to answer this question , that why Osama was there , right in front of their academy, but one cannot hold this as a reason to destroy Pakistan.

Shahbaz , in his specially chartered plan, arrived in Rawalpindi from Lahore tonight. He was on a secret mission, and he has been meeting with some important people , may be in response to the newly established rival alliance between PML(Q) and PML(N).

The alliance is potentially threatening for the Punjab government as it can lose majority in the provincial assembly in the Punjab.
Shahbaz Sharif , after arriving at the airport, went to meet some important personality , in a car alone.

Meeting Between President Zardari and PML(Q) Leadership : Agreement on Formula for Power Sharing

Pakistan Muslim (Q) leadership and President zardari met with each other to set the terms and conditions for the new political alliance. According to the sources , the new alliance has been based on mutually agreed upon points on power sharing in the government.

Two partners accepted that the power in the government is to be shared on the basis of and proportionate to the representation in the assembly. Both parties also agreed upon the establishment of new provinces in the country. PML(Q) earlier this week reiterated their position on the establishment of new provinces, saying that PML(Q) supports the Hazara, Sraiki and Bahawalpur provinces.

Two parties also discussed their seat arrangements in the next elections.

Pope John Paul II The Blessed's Miracles: Meaning of a Miracle from an Aristotelian Point of View

Pope John Paul II is said to perform 2 major miracles . One when a person who was shot in his head in Ohio, America recovered from an irreparable condition due to Pope John Paul II the Blessed'd prayers , and second when a nun recovered from Parkinson's disease miraculously due to the Blessed's intercession.

A miracle is an event for which one cannot give any rational explanation , and the only explanation can be given is in terms of the agency of a religious personality a saint or a prophet .

According to Aristotle , to know is to know the cause of something. So , if a person recovers from an injury caused by a pistol shot in the head, there must be some reason why that person recovered. Similarly , if a person recovers from a disease like Parkinson's disease, then there must be some reason why that person recovered. Scientific knowledge lies in knowing the cause for these recoveries.

Let us form a syllogism for these two miracles:

Parkinson's disease requires a factor 'A' for Recovery

In the Nun's case , the factor 'A' was present

therefore the Nun recovered from the Parkinson's disease

Now this middle term or common term , A, the factor required for the recovery from Parkinson's disease is the object of scientific knowledge. If someone claims the knowledge of  the recovery of the Nun from Parkinson's disease, that someone should know this factor A.

Scientists and Medicine experts examined the case of the Nun , and they were quite unable to find any reason for her recovery. So, "A" the middle term of the syllogism , and the necessary and essential condition for her recovery remained unknown. Now the only thing remained was that , since the Nun thought and believed that it was because of the intercession of Pope Paul II the blessed , that she recovered therefore, her recovery is attributed to this factor alone.

Hence, the "A" , the middle term, the necessary and essential connection between the disease and its recovery was the Blessed's intercession and nothing else.

Furthermore, the connection is also metaphysical, that is beyond the physical world.

That is why it is said that it was the miracle of the Blessed that his prayer caused the recovery from Parkinson's disease.

General Pervaz Musharraf Likely to Prove his Words True

In the context of Newly formed alliance between PML(Q) and PPP, Pervaz Musharraf's acquittal seems plausible, and his return to Pakistan is also expected.

Pervaz Musharraf's , warrants for arrest were sent to London but British government refused to expedite that warrant. PML(N), the opposition party , is the only party in the Parliament that is adamantly against Pervaz Musharraf's return to Pakistan. But in the present context, PML(N) cannot resist against the return of Pervaz Musharraf.

Pervaz Musharraf in his recent interviews has expressed his plan to return to Pakistan before the next elections. So it is highly likely that Pervaz Musharraf will prove his words and come back to Pakistan.

A Complete Turn Around in Pakistan Politics:PPP, PML(Q) Coalition ,PML(N) on Alert

May, 1, 2011
Although Benazir , in a letter written before her death, declared that Pervaz Elahi the leader of PML(Q) should be hold responsible in case of her death in unusual circumstances, Asif Zardari has announced an unexpected political communion with PML(Q).

Asif Zardari himself declared PML(Q) the Murderer league in his speeches prior to the elections of 2008. So this communion of PPP and PML(Q) seems a 180 degree turnaround in Pakistan politics, and it President Zardari , who caused this turnaround. This new coalition is a thretening prospect for PML(N).

Recent coalition between PPP and PML(Q) according to which PML(Q) is likely to get at least five ministries in the center along with  other significant posts . These other posts include advisory positions and the most important post of Deputy Prime Minster . It is also very likely that the Governorship of the Punjab will also go towards PML(Q).

According to PML(N) , the coalition is formed because PPP is preparing to present the budget for 2011-12 , and wants to get it through from the Parliament.

The prospects of having a PML(Q) governor in the Punjab is something dire for PML(N). This change is going to bring a new wave of conflicts and struggles in the politics of the Punjab.

Moreover, PPP , PML(Q) coalition can also threaten the Pumjab government, though the Prime minister has denied any advances on the part of coalition in the direction of toppling PML(N) government through a no confidence movement in the Punjab assembly.

Coudhry Shujaat has also seconded Prime minister's point saying that the coalition is not against anyone.

Shahbaaz Sharif has condemned the new political moves initiated in Islamabad as having no relationship with the welfare of the people of Pakistan. He said that the coalition is basically meant to promote corruption and usurpation of Pakistani people's hard earned money.
